About Us
Dr. Laura Fletcher, DVM- Owner & Veterinarian
A committed local veterinarian and caring leader, Dr. Fletcher has served Southern Maryland and beyond for decades, first volunteering with her veterinarian mentor, Dr. Nancy Ramsey, at the age of 8. Dr. Fletcher is an honors graduate from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California and returned to her hometown to practice medicine in 2016. She has traveled the world helping animals of all shapes and sizes. Dr. Fletcher consistently shows compassion and professionalism towards her animal patients and their families. This compassion extends to her volunteer work with the Friends of the Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter, where she sits as a board member and the North Beach Nature Center. She is an advocate for local rescue groups and enjoys sponsoring & attending many of their fundraising events . After over 8 years of general practice in a hospital setting, Dr. Fletcher wanted to bring her premiere care to the comfort of a house call environment.
Dr. Fletcher resides in North Beach with her husband, Kevin, their daughter Kenni Raye and their Collie mixes, Wylder and Byndi. When Laura is not practicing medicine she can be found searching for shark teeth and fossils along Calvert Cliffs or walking along the North Beach boardwalk. Laura & Kevin have a strong connection to support their local small businesses and community. They love their beach town!

Audrey, Veterinary Technician
Audrey is a lifelong Calvert County resident and currently calls Owings her home, along with her Fiancée Eddie, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and many chickens. She has worked in veterinary medicine for 5yrs, with experience in general practice as well as emergency. During that time she began offering an in-home pet nail trim service that grew to become Aud’s & Ends Pet Services, LLC. Audrey is passionate about making the experience of vet care and nail trims as stress-free as possible for both pets and their owners. If she’s not on the road to her next appointment, she’s likely hunkered down with coffee and a book, or exploring her next National Park.
